When I Started:
Jan, 2006
How I Started:
I got started a couple of years ago training on and off because I was not doing very much physical activity after leaving high school. I decided to start training seriously because I got sick of carrying around the extra weight that i put on because of the freshman "fifteen" plus the 25kilos I put on when I suffered depression. Lazyness and "I will always be on the chubby side" are no longer excuses!!!
Why I Love It:
I love working out because of the changes in my body and I get to meet great new people at the gym.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by seeing the changes in my body.
I have gotten used to eating 5 times a day now. This last weekend was the first time that I had not kept it up, and I could tell the difference in my energy and also my hunger, I had my normal portions for Breakfast and Lunch, had no morning/afternoon tea, and because I had no portein shake...
So far so good...having a hard time getting through sets when I'm weight training. looking into some other supplements for that. but everything else is going okay I suppose. diet still needs tweaking though been working on that
Hey...RM, I just noticed your new avi, and recent updates. Great work sis. I haven't heard from you in awhile, and just wanted to say hello. Have you seen the message board thread on my profile for women who have lost 100 lbs or more? Very inspirational. You'll be sharing your testimonial in no time. :) T
Hi Random, it was great to hear from you, and no apologies needed. I know things can get hectic at times. Congratulations on the progress you've made so far. Slow and steady is very good, you should be proud of yourself, as I'm proud of you. Have a lovely weekend sis. :) T
