Lift 4-6x a week + Cardio!
Work HARD. I stay away from slow state cardio because I get bored easily :-P I like incorporating drills I used to do as a D1 athlete to keep it fun and keep myself moving for cardio (speed intervals, running outside, plyos, speed ladders, bodyrock.tv videos are AWESOME too!), something that'll get me sweating.
I lift 4-6x a week, upper/ lower body split each day. I always pair this with cardio pretty much every day. No rest days usually. I can't stand being idle. I will stand at my office desk for periods of time, multiple times a day, if I have to.
My Nutrition Philosophy View My Full Nutrition Philosophy
I eat 5-7 times a day and rely on foods high in protein. I do not believe in carb cycling or carb depleting.
My Supplement Philosophy View My Full Supplement Philosophy
Protein-infused diet!
I will take BCAAs during competition prep, but do not look to any fat burners/dieuretics or anything in addition to whey protein products.
Right now I'm in love with Met-RX Whey Utlromyasyn. I Also use The extreme thermorage pre-workout on days when I'm not feeling so hot !

And since my start date, I have only gone out for lunch and participated in a company-holiday celebration a total of 3 times. Granted, I’ve been in prep for much of this time, but now I am remaining in a less-restricted but clean regimen and prefer to save my lunch money by bringing in my own food. It’s not perfect, but I am working on... Go to BodyBlog

We are all human, and though we set high goals to live at high standards in this fitness lifestyle, slip ups are in our nature. Nothing worth having comes easy. We have to work. Not every day is going to match the motivation level of the previous, and the inspiration to commit and sacrifice day in and day out, at 100%, may falter on some days. The most important thing, however, is your intent. Are you humble with your progress, or just looking for the glory in the end? With good intentions, and... Go to BodyBlog

From Bodyspace Spokesmodel to IFBB Pro debut & TEAM Bodybuilding.com Soon after the Bodyspace Spokesmodel Finals at the LA Fit Expo in January, I knew that the day I had been waiting for would come before I knew it...! Saturday, March 9 I would step on stage in my first IFBB bikini pro show for my pro debut. Nine months ago when I graduated with my undergrad degree in May '12 with two D1 sports under my belt, I never would have imagined that I would trade in my volleyball spandex... Go to BodyBlog
