When I Started:
Feb, 2006
How I Started:
I got started in weightlifting when I was about 19 years old. My father lost his workout partner (my brother due to taking a night shift job) so I was asked if I would like to take his place. Ever since then I have loved it.
Why I Love It:
I love it because my father got me started in it. Thankfully I have inherited his genes when it comes to size and strength. I am also the runt of the family even though I am only 5'10" and 218lbs.
How I Stay Motivated:
The one and only thing that keeps me motivated is again, my father. He is currently stricken with alzheimers and parkinsons disease which started when he was only 51 years old. He is still suffering with it at the age of 60 and is now permanently bed ridden. Every time I walk into a gym he is there with me spiritually.
Update!..dad died on Valentines day. We lost an amazing member to our family that day but heaven gained one badass motherf*cker. If my 'ol man is up there, he's either benching 505 again or he's rippin' someone a new ass. I love ya pops.
BB Accomplishments:
One thing that I consider somewhat of an accomplishment is the fact that I took off so much time to take care of my family (wife and one child) that I put my health on the back burner for almost a decade. After going through a divorce it made me understand that I should have thought about just myself and the betterment of my daughter. Trust no one!

Gone fisting!
I have 3 workout routines. They are pretty basic. It's a 6 on and then one day off schedule. Legs..then back, shoulders and bi's....then chest and tri's with abs and some sort of cardio thrown in there just about every day for good measure. I try to go as heavy as I can on all. Just the way...
I used to go to that Golds every once in a while, but now I can't get in free cause sice they converted I can't get in for free. I work for a fire protection company and we do a lot of work down that way.
Man I wish I had a freind like you before I started my D-bol Cycle oh well. Hey I'm down here in SRQ which GYM you go to? I'v been going to the Gold's on Bee ridge, but since my membership ran out this week I'm thinkin about checking out the y and lff, any other suggestions before I settle back down?
I'm around, the repetitiveness of the exercise and workout forums is beginning to grate on me though. Doesn't anyone know how to do a search. How many times a day can people ask how to feel a bench press?
