I’ve battled with weight my entire teen years and when I hit my 20s I went the wrong way about dieting, I started with off the counter generic pills, starving myself… you name it. I wanted to join the military but I was 55 lbs over the maximum weight for my height!! That was my wake up call. I joined a local gym and started working out, my mother started helping me by cutting back on the “good stuff” that I used to love….LOL. Made it into the Army and fitness became a part of everyday life. But soon after I got out the weight snuck up on me again; I gained 32 lbs back, I had to put a stop to it, so I got back on track Dec 05 and have enjoyed the journey thus far.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because of the way I feel inside out once I am done lifting. If I could only love cardio as much!!
I only have one body and I am obligated to take care of it, and working out helps me do that. My body is the only thing that I can control, how much I lift, how much and what I eat, and the results that I want… it’s all in my hands and no one else. Self control is an art, which I’ve come to learn with age!!!
How I Stay Motivated:
My husband :) he always knows what to say to push me to do my best. I also stay motivated by keeping my fat pictures around (to scare myself…LOL) especially at my office (my screen saver is my fat picture)whenever I get tempted to snack on junk, I look at my picture at 184 lbs and I hear myself saying “that is a quick way to look like that again”…LOL
BB Accomplishments:
9th Place at my 2nd Figure show this year, 10th Place at my first show at the Europa Super Show after I've lost and kept off 62 lbs the first time around. Kept the extra 32 lbs off for the past year +.
Won the Army hooah lifting competition (1) 3rd place (2 times) 2nd place and (2 times) 1st place.
1st place local gym Female leg press competition 325 lbs pressed 127 times.
4th place local gym Female leg press competition 450 lbs pressed 57 times.

I was fat and happy...LOL, but unless I have 6 kids back to back, I never want to get that big again :)
I’ve learned so much since I started working with him. He introduced me to KETOGENICS dieting and much more. He is honest, if you got it he will tell you, and if not HE TELLS IT LIKE IT IS, no sugar coating. He sounds mean sometimes but there is not better answer than an honest answer. If...

Goal (Long):
Compete! Get my Pro card... I would like to transform my body into a work of art and become everything I was distant to be. Be a better example to my children someday and teach them how to live healthy.
Simply delivers everything he promises... If you want to hear what you like to hear, then find someone else to feed you lies. He tells it like it is, but motivates me with tough encouragments to bring out the best out of me!!
What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
Get a trainer or someone who know's their way around the gym. Start slow, you are not going to turn to a superman over night, this is a marathon and not a race. Read. What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
Compliments!!!
An expression of praise, commendation, or admiration: A sincere compliment boosts one's morale. It’s a kind gesture that goes a long way, if meant; you can change a person entire day if not life. I know the first few I’ve received in my road to weight lost, muscle...
Well, I will be in Iraq in September of this year. Which branch are you in? I guess I have to covert my workouts to the sand box. One year I will be there. Fun.
Hi and how are you? How was your day. I jogged and did push ups, abs and chin ups in the park. Then I when to the beach and fell asleep. Relaxing at home. Will see the fireworks on tv.
The runner's build is not a bad look. I am like you, I can get stronger but I have the same build and weight for years. I dont gain in size. More defined is what I get. Thank you for the abs complement. About 500 reps on the abs every other day will get you great abs :)
