Tale of two gyms, garage gym in SC (1,500 sq fast) and garage gym in condo garage in FL (160 sq feet). Is one “better” than another? No! The small gym has all the essentials for a full body training (rack, Olympic bar, plates, db set 10-75 pounds, flat bench, adjustable bench, sissy bench, sled and Farmer’s bars for loaded carries. The larger gym, sure, more “stuff” but again it’s almost like - using an analogy from Aldi’s, you want shredded wheat? There is only one brand. No stress going up and down an aisle scoping out 5 shredded wheat brands. Likewise, many times I’m a tad stressed on my larger gym because of all my options. So, both are wonderful but always glad for a simple reboot with the essentials as found in 160 square feet. Oh, yes, too… …”investing” in a good home gym has incalculable returns on your money that is long lasting.

Good evening fit fam. Chest and triceps today on the mid-week, lunch crunch X-press. Strength and isolation. Did: 4 sets of cable iron crosses (facing the machine), 4 sets of cable crossovers, 4 sets of pec flies on the pec deck, 4 sets of lying Svend Press, 4 sets of Hammer Strength Iso-lateral "wide chest", 4 sets of overhead triceps rope extensions (low and leaning forward), 4 sets of two arm seated machine triceps push-downs, and 4 sets of two arm DB triceps kickbacks with a hammer curl finish. Happy numbers for today were: 190 lbs x 10 on the Hammer Strength "wide chest". 150 x 10 on the pec flies was a personal best. Hope that everyone had a great day. Have a great night! Bob
