Background
I got started at 14 years old. my buddies and I would lift in the barn using makeshift weights like a gallon paint can full of cement or nut and bolts... etc. Anything we could find, if it was heavy then we had to lift it, We dragged it in the barn and lifted it. It became an addiction, if you didnt lift then you didnt feel right. Your body was missing out and your mind was telling you that. After that I only looked forward...the energy and ambition was amazing.
The pump, The feeling, The Buzz. I apply the discipline and the reward to my determination for a successful life. BB is a great sport where I met a lot of good people. I enjoy the euphoria of the pump and the health benefits, kind of like an internal cleansing.

>Also, The gym I lift at, its kind of unique. called "gym". Its a basement of a 115yr old building. its not pretty, warm, or comfortable. its dark. when you show up you turn the lights on. when you leave you shut them off cause your the only one there. the iron is black, no chromies in this place. you go in...rip yourself apart...and leave. No one goes there. Occasionally you'll run across someone else and you really don't talk. they're on the same path or journey, you know it and they know it. So you move iron and leave.
