I worked out and trained in high school, and fell off my senior year. I noticed myself feeling worse and worse every day and wanted to make a drastic change. I woke up tired, I felt terrible. I needed out. I started hanging out with my friend Phil, who is a pretty big fella, and we started working out together. I couldn't stop at this point if I wanted to.
Why I Love It:
Energy level, strength, endurance. Appearance is secondary to me. I'm not bodybuilding yet. I need to be healthy.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at older pictures of myself, looking at what I will eventually become if I keep my eyes ahead and work. Knowing that I can take this life to the next level, and all I have to do is work my ass off for it. That's why I keep my default picture the one of me at 285 fat pounds. It keeps me moving forward.
OK, so yeah. I'm rocking out pretty hard in the gym, very consistently. Maintaining my bodyweight rather than losing, which is fine by me. I'm eating relatively clean, and it seems to be doing the trick.
I'll be hitting the cardio harder in the coming days to see how it pans out. Very...
