How I Started:
I did a little weightlifting back in highschool 1984 - 1988. In 2001 I completed the Body For Life 12 week program. I was very happy with the results. Since then I hadn't worked out consistantly and gained more weight. I went to a FAME competition in 2007 and 2008 as a spectator and then I decided I wanted to compete. It was time to hit the gym!!
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel after a good workout. The burning and pumped feeling my arms and legs have.
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep pictures of other bodybuilders posted at home and at work to remind me of how I can look. I also post motivational sayings on my bathroom mirror at home. I lost some motivation this past summer. I couldn't weight train for 3 months due to a wrist injury. I had a frayed articular cartilage of the wrist. I couldn't put any weight on my wrist. Usually with this type of injury if there is no improvement of healing a person would require surgery. Thank God I never had to do that.

Competed in my first comp. April 09'.
