When my husband and I started dating all we did was eat and watch movies and that resulted in a 15lb weight gain on top of some pregnancy weight I hadn't yet lost. Later we got engaged and I knew I need to do something about my weight and health. One day we decided to go for a run at a local track and I could barely run for a couple of minutes without getting winded. I was embarrassed and ashamed since I used to run all the time. I knew I needed to do something different. So this began the long and arduous journey to change my body and life.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel so good about myself.
It gives me confidence and the feeling of accomplishing something. Also it's nice to hear my husband tell me he's proud of me everyday. Since I've started my life has changed a lot for the better. I enjoy the burn and hard work.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at other fit people on here and in my magazines. Seeing my muscles show more. A plan of attack also keeps me motivated because everything I need to do and eat is laid out for me and I don't have to panic about it.
BB Accomplishments:
Curretnly it's the fact that I actually am bodybuilding, lol.

I'm a very motivated person and my body doesn't show that. I want to look like the person that I really am inside. I want people to look at me and think that I'm fit and healthy and that I take care of myself.
I've had an amazing past couple of weeks. I've finally buckled down on my diet and I'm for real this time. It is not a chore anymore (hey that rhymes). Eatting better truely does change everything, from mood, energy, to most importantly weight loss. I was eatting "healthy" before but...
I'm doing good. trying to dial in my 'diet' and get my workouts in. Been having a hard time doing both. :) But in 6 weeks, we'll be in L.A. and I want to fit into my smaller clothes, so I'm more focused than I have been in awhile! I hear you on the cardio! I'm trying to lift full body 3 days/week and do cardio 5-6 days. I want to run a 5-k in a few weeks. What are you doing to get below a 10 minute mile? I'd love any tips you have!
Wow it is a challange rows, deadlifts, lat pull, standing bar raise, pull ups.... I keep telling myself no pain no gain. Thanks for the encouragement hope my back turns out as half as awesome as yours (smile). I go back to the States soon for leave. So I can work out at a better Gym. With more equiptment than what I have here in Iraq. Stay sweet and looking hott!! Your #1 Solider ttyl.
Hey there, just dropping in to say hi and look at your pics one more time(smile). Your hard work shows awesome results. You make looking sexy and beautiful look easy.
haha.. i have the pink one, but if i could do it over i would do black, just because it won't show dirt.. :) but pink is cute:) it's kina a pastel pink:) ugh, tough decisions to make:)
lol, glad u joined a gym! Even with my ankle ive focused on my upper body, so im still on track and i can do leg extensions and leg curls. In a couple of weeks i hope to start to do body weight exersises like body squats and calf raises.
hey girl.. I'm all about the music I am lead screamer in a metal trio for a reason ;) and I agree so few women into lifting and decent music ~ keeps me going for sure.
If the process is going great for you then you have managed to thank me in the best way possible. I feel so good when I hear about and see people losing weight and/or getting into the best shape of their lives. I would never have believed that fitness would make me feel so wonderful each and every day, and that my life’s goal would be directed toward assisting others to feel the fantastic feeling of fitness. Thank you for your great message.
Well, it is finally getting warmer..for now! lol My progress hasn't been so great. But I am getting my butt back in the gym and focusing on eating better. We're planning a trip to L.A. the end of May, so I have a goal date! How's your progress coming? I read in your blog you got a dog! What kind?
