How I Started:
My buddy owns a gym and wanted to get back into shape. My Dad brought home my first set of weights when I was 12 from a yard sale. I've worked out off and on over the years but didn't devote the time to it until about 1999.
Why I Love It:
The way it makes me feel after a good workout, the health benefits and how better my clothes fit.

Goal (Long):
To squat 300lbs x 6-8 reps. I'm working at 240 right now and work to add at least 5-7lbs per month. I'm working in cycles of 12 weeks with a week break between. Backing off about 10% and getting back to the weight I ended at the end of the cycle in about 2 weeks and achieving a new goal weight of 10% at the end of each cycle. Plan to achieve by 1 Jun 09.

This is a full-body workout. It takes approximately 40-45 minutes to complete. I rest long enough to catch my breath. I've done split routines for the past 2-3 years and wanted to work full-body again for a bit.

Thanks! Yesterday I had 2 hav emergency oral surgery 2 extract 1 of my wisdom teeth do 2 absession and infection! Needless 2 say Dat my diet and workout schedule has suffered 4 da last 2 days. Dis wks progress pix may be disappointing. I do plan 2 hit HARD and STRONG once I know dat I'm in da clear. So given dat bit of info I still would like 2 have feed back GOOD or BAD when I do my weigh in and progress pix on Sunday! Keep up UR hard work so dat I will be envious of ur progress!
hey , thank you. It isnt that easy, need to stay focus and its alot of heavy lifting but the people are always so nice and give you soo much back. i love doing it
