How I Started:
I remember being 17 and seeing a picture of Rachel Mclish on the cover of a bodybuilding magizine. I thought she was awesome. I just remember thinking that women could be strong and beautiful. How cool! Anyway she rocks! So I started working out. My first gym was St. Andrews Fitness. Then I dated a guy that showed me the true meaning roid rage. Started working out at Power House. Later Wolf's. Needless to say I was in and out. After 4 children and my 2nd lesson in love & marriage, I decided, I'M BACK! I love it, what else can I say.
Why I Love It:
ITS MY HOUSE... HIS TEMPLE! It's a way of life challenging each day to make you a more disciplined person. It is ever learning and focused on the souls core when balanced with spirituality. It forces you to face fears of self failure and move forward each day learning and finding what works for you as an individual. It not only makes your body strong but it also increases the strength of the gray matter. Mind and body must connect and grow together in order to be sucessful. I love it because it's hard! Anyone who tells you its easy is a liar. Nothing good comes easy! Thats how it is for me anyway.
How I Stay Motivated:
I do what ever it takes. Self motivated! I pray. I try to surround myself with possitive people, who have similar goals. I draw strengh from my children. I want to be a good example to them and for them to know that they can achevie whatever they set there minds to. I dont look back because what lies ahead is where I'm going anyway. I read and continiously try to gain knowledge in bodybuiding and fitness. My best friend Melissa, is an inspiration, she rocks, she is on her way to being one of the best personal trainers SC has ever seen, dont know where I'd be without her! Thanks Girl for for always being there. JH, also, you are a great motivator, thanks for believing in me from the begining and teaching me the ropes in room full of pumped up ----heads:)My true hero will remain in my heart...you know who you are and thats all that matters!
BB Accomplishments:
Getting to the Gym Everyday! After, Volley ball, Basket Ball, Track, Base Ball & Music Lessions. I gotta BIcep!

What type of outfit do you usually wear when you workout? Why?
What ever I like, comfortable and fitting. I like to see the muscle group I am working. It is afterall, MY body.
