When I Started:
Jun, 2008
How I Started:
Decided to finally get in shape and stick to it. I have always been active my whole life but never stuck to a strict diet and consistant exercise. I have always been a sports freak especially with swimming and I am also a dancer. I just never really hit the gym much. I ate whatever and now looking back, it shows really how much a clean diet and consistant exercise really does make a difference. I went through a bad break up and had to get my anger out somehow and I hit the gym and decided to do a competition to have something to work towards and now I am addicted.
Why I Love It:
I feel like I have so much more energy. After watching my body transform the way that it has and how people have become inspired, it makes me want to work harder to see what my body can do.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by looking at old pictures of myself and never wanting to look like that again.
BB Accomplishments:
Did my first show Dec 2008 Excalibur and placed 10th. Dropped 10% bodyfat. I plan on competing again next year and hope to place.

Goal (Long):
I want to really get my lower body in shape, that has been the biggest challenge for me. Once I get there I just want to maintain a toned muscualr body but still look feminine at the same time.
I know, tell me about it. Some of my friends are over there right now and say it's tough to maintain a workout regime as well as a mental game for it.
Good luck with it though. I know it must be tough.
Nice delts and back in that profile pic. Excellent decision to take some time to enjoy life. For what it's worth, there are those of us that appreciate people like you who serve in places like Afghanistan. That plus the inspiration of your fitness ethic is pretty motivational.
That's right girl! Take the time off! You deserve it! Don't OVER-endulge though. I made that mistake on my R&R and boy did I pay for it. :) Keep up the great work! You look fantastic!
