When I Started:
Jan, 2004
How I Started:
Lifting Class in gym trying to recover from two reconstructive knee surguries from hockey.
Why I Love It:
It gives me a sense of accomplishment seeing my body transform day to day. It also helps relieve stress from my class load, chemical engineering. I love being in the gym and setting goals with my buddys.
How I Stay Motivated:
My friend helps motivate me as we lift. We both keep each other focused and on task.
I'm pulling another long night studying for a calc 3 and o-chem test coming up this week and i think that my lack of sleep will start to mess with my gains in the gym...how depressing. How neccesary is 8 hours of sleep...i mean do you think i can funciton with an average of 5-6?
i recently found out that the back pain was a badly herniated disk pressing against my left nerve root. got some steroid injections in my spine getting more in a week, and pray that it gets better without surgery.
yo, it wasn't that bad. I pulled a moscle and the pain was a constant, major, back spasm. She said that she felt it when she toutched my back. A week of pain killers and muscle relaxants later and i feel much better. Supposed to take another 5 off though. Probably will start light in two or three then go all out by 6
