How I Started:
I realized that I was getting really out of shape and that I am friends with all the football players and that are all really in shape and I don't want to live like the anymore. I was to gain more muscle and just be in better shape than I am currently (jan 2009)
Why I Love It:
It lets all my anger out and when I am having a bad day it just makes my day become some what better!
How I Stay Motivated:
Just looking at all the guys around me that are huge and saying to myself "that will be me very very soon!" and also all the people here on bodyspace that are there if you need anything. Its good to have people like that around.

To gain 10 pounds of mass by summer time for the beach.
Goal (Long):
By Summer time, I would like to achieve the following goals...
Lose 15lbs
1) Gain 1.5" on arms (Current 11")
2) Gain 3" on chest (Current 35")
3) Lose 3" around waist- (Current 33.5")
4) Get my Body Fat Percentage down to 20% (Current 25.25)
Ever since I was a little kid I had always looked up to the guys who's arms were popping out of their sleeves of their shirts and who would go to the pool with a bunch of people and not feel nervous about taking their shirts off. I believe that I can become one of those guys within the next 18 months.
Ok, so its a new year and I am really tired of being out of shape. This is a new year and I would love to have a more defined body by summer time. I would like to be one of those people that does not care to take their shirt of in public. Right now, I am just to out of shape to do anything. If...
Thanks for the add!!! You are young so don't worry the mass will come as your body starts to develop with age. However, it is never to early to start EATING TO GROW!!! Eat 5-6 meals a day... but make sure you are eating clean!
i live by "its better more than less, to be sure" :D food is the base of this, i cant tell what you should eat as i dont know you, but me, for instance, i eat 6-8 times a day 40gr of protein in every meal and lots of carbs and fat :D just anything to get more calories than i need.. and it works :]
Another great motivation is to find a photo of what you would really LOVE your body to be like, make a couple copies, tape one to the bathroom mirror, and the otherone to the inside of your wallet, this way you see it constantly and it makes you want to work hard
When I started I knew a guy who was large, had the potential to be a beast, but wasn't into the gym at all... I watched a couple ufc fights with him and, he was really into watching wwe so we watched a few of them... when he was all excited about the fight I made the comment he could be bigger than the guy we were watching... thats all it took
