I was just fat after I had kids and it wasn't coming off. I decided to start working out, but wasn't really inspired that much. I'm a bit vain and so my appearance has been bothering me. But, with two little ones running around, work, and being just generally busy I let it slide. I wasn't willing to sacrifice anything to make the time to go to the gym. I would do some stuff at home, but I never stuck with it. My husband has inspired me so much. He is a fit and healthy man and is always striving to be better and do more. He gave me the drive to really get started and here I am.
Why I Love It:
I love the results. Even the small ones, which right now is all I'm seeing. I love the pumped feeling when you finish a workout and feel like you accomplished something that you were meant to do.
How I Stay Motivated:
It's hard - especially at the beginning. My husband and friends are all really supportive and encouraging and that helps me to keep on track and stay pumped about finishing my goals!
To lose fat and transform my body so that I can be the healthiest version of myself.
Goal (Long):
Before I had children I was pretty proud of my body. It wasn't extremely fit but I was healthy and active and my body could do whatever I required of it. After my kids it's been a struggle. Having been a person that never had any problems with weight before, I was shocked that it wouldn't come off after I had the kids. I want to be able to do anything and everything I want and not feel impeded by appearance or lack of fitness and health. I want to be the best person I can be for myself and for my family. My goal now is to lose the fat and gain muscle for overall fitness.
Because seriously, after four kids you just have to admire her body and her drive. It is such an encouragement to know that others have stuggled and overcome the same problems that I'm now facing. She gives me the courage to push hard and achieve my goals!
She is so inspirational in her progress. She's worked hard and accomplished her goals quickly. She looks healthy and fit and that is what we are all striving for.
So does anyone else feel like they are getting every single illness out there right now? I swear I have been sick more than I have been well. It is the most frustrating thing for me. This is my sons first year of school and I don't guess I realized what a protective bubble I was in without...
So how are the workouts going girly? Its hit and miss with me. I am REALLY trying though. I want to be at the gym, I just dont have the support at home anymore. Grrrrr! I hope things are good for you! Have a great rest of the week!
You're not kidding!! My guys keep asking where I've been. They just don't understand family nights, open houses, Secondary Interventions meetings, PBIS meetings, Advisory Council, etc!! Oh to live the life of a single childless man! It would be SO much easier!!!
Yea man , the B man is looking buff and getting bigger eh! NICE.
