When I Started:
How I Started:
Being physically fit and active has always been a huge part of my life. I started weight lifting regularly in high school and haven't stopped. When I was preparing to transition into personal training fulltime I learned the value of training smarter and have transferred that knowledge onto my clients.
Why I Love It:
I love the benefits of weightlifting and cardiovascular indurance! To feel strong, fit and healthy is the greatest gift to have and share...
How I Stay Motivated:
My goal is to live by example. In that sense my clients are my biggest motivator. Being fit is also something I want to pass on to my future children.
BB Accomplishments:
Competed in 3 Figure and Fitness Modeling competitions last year and placed top 5 in each my first year!
I want to continue changing my body composition by decreasing my bodyfat %.
Goal (Long):
Last year was my first attempt at being a figure competitor and I entered 3 competitions. I lost 15lbs very rapidly by increasing my meals/day and following a high protein/low carb diet. My bodyfat% also dropped to about 13%. The first two competitions I entered in the novice division and placed 4th (NGA) and 2nd place (INBF). I entered myself in the open division for the 3rd competition and placed 5th (OCB).
Are you competing at the 2009 Ronnie Classic in Dallas on Saturday April 18, 2009? This year we have Figure, Fitness and NOW BIKINI competition. Give me your thoughts.
You are looking great. I wish they had personal trainers that looked like you when I first hit the gym. It might not have taken me so damned long to get the message.
Keep gettin' after it cause its workin'.
Of course you can do it! You look terrific!! I noticed you eat Think Thin bars. I was completely addicted to them for a long time (crunchy PB...) and when I cut them out had new found ab definition. Lots of luck to you.
thanks so much! i had fun, even though it was a ridiculous weekend. i loved working with ben. perhaps we'll end up competing against each other sometime?
