A friend told me about a great gym in Philly that does a lot of hardcore Martial arts, and I wanted to see what it was about. I was immediately hooked on BJJ/Muay Thai
Why I Love It:
I have to be honest, I like to look tight. Not to mention the push, that personal fight you have with yourself when you say one more, then you're like !!ONE MORE, WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT 3 MORE!!!! DIG!!!
How I Stay Motivated:
By knowing that there is still a lot to learn, and with that knowledge, I'll know more that I don't know anything at all....
BB Accomplishments:

I really have to find a new pose..... Well this is the last photo I take before I get back into my clean eating and working out... I hope to show major gains in the next picture.
Almost back on track. Hitting the kettlebells hard again, but the deit still needs attention.
Goal (Long):
Diet is first and foremost, without that I'm not going to have the energy to do this:
1) Lean out while maintaining the current weight.
2) Build more dense muscle without losing my flexibility.
3) Get to 12% BF
4) Continue to compete.
Those are my four goals. Since I'm not a big weight lifter it's going to be hard to show how much weight I'm pushing. One of my teammates just picked up some kettle bells, and we're going to be burning out with those. That's going to be fun, I'll keep a posting on how I'm coming along, both with photos, and with blogs. :)
That's the latest book I'm reading, and although I'm not able to read as much as I'd like I'm hooked! If you're serious about how your body works this is a great book to get. Here's a paragraph from the book.

I train five days a week, mainly Jiu-Jitsu, which has only you opponents boy weight involved. On any given day I can spar with people 10-14lbs light or up to 80+lbs heavier. My training lasts for about two hours each day.
Once or twice a week I take a one to two hour bike ride keeping my...

How have you been doing, my friend? Saw yet another kettlebell (it was a pansy kettlebell, though, an infomercial called 'kettlenetics' or something like that), and thought of you!! :)
Dude, your abs look SICK! I'm so jealous. Great job! WHy does it always seem that men can get abs in a matter of weeks? I'm not saying you don't work hard i'm just saying they appear quickly.
thanks
i think thats the hardest part about eating clean...alot of the USUAL is tasteless and i mean common taste is an amazing sense..and i love food lol i tend to throw together diff stuff alot. the way i see it if the ingredients are clean then have fun with it.
i have no idea how some ppl can eat just oats and chicken lol...if your competeing then go to it but hell why torture yourself all the time!!!
so sned me this recipie :)
Oh my gosh, that story is insane!! No stitches or anything?! I've definitely had a few spills in my life - one where my helmet downright split and I have a few memorable stitches from it (luckily I have long hair. ;)). We did a lot of trails, and LOTS of hills - I LOVE climbing and could do it forever, but definitely intimidated when going downhill! :p
