How I Started:
My best friend got me into it in high school (circa 2000) and it lasted for about six months before I decided I was too busy with school. I tried again in college with one of my room mates (2004) but was still too occupied with school to keep going longer than six months. Finally, in grad school after I finished classes (March 2007), I felt I had enough flexibility in my schedule to work out regularly. I hope to continue doing it the rest of my life.
Why I Love It:
I don't. I actually despise going to the gym. I can always think of at least 20 things I'd rather be doing. The results are what I love.
How I Stay Motivated:
It's called a mirror. And my friends and family telling me they can notice that I've been working out. I love compliments. Oh, and I have a reliable gym buddy.
BB Accomplishments:
I have a chest... kind of. And my arms can fill up the fitted sleeves on short-sleeve shirts. That's a nice feeling.
