My first show. I'd started dieting with too much body fat, so I dieted too hard, and carbed too late, coming in neither as tight or as full as I'd liked. Plus, I completely forget to smile or look human on stage - my focus was on just getting through the poses. Still - managed to pull 4th in the Grand Masters, which didn't suck. The judging was fair - in fact, I'd ranked 1-4 at registration and called it just as the judges did.
All in all, a good experience. |
