I've always lifted off and on since maybe 5th grade. I know, I started young but I never did anything that put pressure on my spine. I could actually bench around 100lbs as a fifth grader, which I think was damn good for that age.
Why I Love It:
It's all about self-motivation. You don't lift, let alone get results unless you push, challenge and set goals for yourself. Plus there are numerous health and emotional benefits.
How I Stay Motivated:
I make it a routine - something that's a part of my everyday life. I appreciate my accomplishments while always staying hungry.
BB Accomplishments:
I have numerous strength accomplishments that although can be better, I will always be proud of.
my bulk is over as of tonight.. no more fatty foods.. i'll miss all the junk food but it's time to hit the next stage of my training
my bulk was decent.. the pros were that i hit all my previous PBs and beyond at a much lower body weight than before.. 405x4 on deads, 355x4 on squat, and 280x4...
i wouldn't worry too much about the weekends. gotta live a lil too.
i enjoy doing calves because im paying more attention to them. i never really cared about them. they seem to grow and react better than say my hams/quads.
cutting aint that fun lol
u getting any mood swings? i know i did whenever i drop carbs out.
training is good tho. one thing i really enjoy doing now is believe it or not- working out the calves haha.
yoyo for your lateral raises, bring shoulders back and lead with elbows. if you are incorporating descending sets try ascending as well. ex: start with 20lbs for 10, 30 for 10, 40 for 10. couple rotations of those should stimulate your medial delts.
it was nice to see u guys sunday. until next time!
PETERRRRRRRRR
hows training? i saw ur myspace pic. ur not trying to become an abercrombie model are u?? LOL keep it up. i might be in socal for edc in june. so hopefully ill see down there or when u come home.
i don't wanna hear compliments man. tell me im small and weak damn it! that way i can use it as motivation lol but yeh i am proud of where i am. gotta be happy with myself and accept the way i am right now or i will be lost forever. i kno what you mean by all the other people here at bb.com. your a 6ft asian male. take advantage of that big boy! thats why i love this site. im comfortable because its nice to see other bbers and fitness experts out there. theres a lot of beautiful people here.
