How I Started:
I joined the Army right out of High School and worked out 5 days a week but was not really serious about nutrition and diet or even training for that matter. I stayed at it kinda going through the motions until about 2006. I got serious about diet, nutrition, and training and made significant gains. I have put on over 35 lbs of muscle and feel crazy strong.
Why I Love It:
I love seeing the most subtle change. Changes most people never notice. I know my body, how it's going to react each day. Still haven't decided between going for strength or a trimmed down look though so I am kinda in between.
How I Stay Motivated:
Mostly, it's other people that motivate me. By that I mean, I inspire and motivate other (not to sound vain) and people often come to me for advice with food, supplements, and training. It is, for me, the best indicator that "I" am doing "something" right.
LOL dude you and I are on the same page. Thats EXACTLY what happens to me. And then i get frustrated with not leaning out. But ive ramped up the cardio/abs workouts this week and hopefully there will be visible progress soon. We have to motivate each other on this one
