I have being working out for several years now. But after a spine injury which made me pause for 3 years now I'm back at the gym with energy and determination. Since I got interested in competing I got more inspired on the sport.
Why I Love It:
It makes me realize my strengths and weaknesses and gives me opportunity to fix them. Further more gives me self confidence.
How I Stay Motivated:
Reading, progress pics and watching videos
BB Accomplishments:
1st place (80kg class) in Mr. Muthuwella bodybuilding show - 2009 August
2nd place (Top 10) Muthuwella bodybuilding show - 2009 August
To have a muscular body with great definition. Shreading the fat as much as possible
Goal (Long):
My goal is to compete in 75k-80k weight class before the end of the year. Currently I compete on 70k-75k class. Further more my main ambition at the moment is to define by abs and gain more muscle on quads and hams.
I had my competition and bagged the 1st place in my weight class. And so did the 2nd place in all around top 10 class. Boy I’m glad I made that happen after all the **** I went through the final few weeks of preparations.
There is another national level competition on 5th of next...
it works well but you must be patient and reduce the carbs progressively. It's sometimes hard to lift heavy on low carbs, so now and then it's a good idea to introduce higher carbs days.
Thanks for the add
Looking good in your recent pics. You're right, you should now concentrate on shoulders. Better shoulders would make you look bigger and improve that v-shape.
For the abs, it's a question of reducing your bf to make them appear.
Either reduce your carbs intake or increase cardio.
Train hard and keep up the good work
I got back into lifting after a major injury myself...came pretty close to dying. Glad the training is going well for you bro. Keep up the awesome work!
