Overall Goal: Lost 30 lbs. Goal is to lose 20-30 more. :0)
Fit Status:

Real Name:
Lori Anne

23
Location:
New York, United States
Occupation:
Nanny
Personal Website:
Gym:
Planet Fitness
Gym Location:
Bay Shore and Melville
When I Started:
Sep, 2008
How I Started:
I finally came to a point where I could no longer hide my body cleverly with clothing, and realized I was the heaviest and unhealthiest I've ever been. I also am a nanny and I wanted to have more energy to run around with the little ones and keep from getting sick!
Why I Love It:
I love the accomplishment, it is also a great means of stress relief, because I have been through a lot in my life and its a good way to work out the anger and be at peace. I love the warm feeling I get during and the happiness I feel after, and I love the new found energy and the way my body feels as I start to get healthier
How I Stay Motivated:
Continually facing my pictures, looking at pictures of Vida Guerra and imagining how wonderful I would look and feel if I were in shape. Thinking about having children of my own and how young I am to be so unhealthy. Thinking about my ten year high school reunion and being the most in shape fox there ;op haha Theres more, but mostly I think about being healthy and looking good and know I can make it happen. Plus all the photos of other beautiful women on here and the transformations I've seen are entirely motivating.
BB Accomplishments:
(I am making the steps...and that in itself if an accomplisment. Stay posted for the rest ;op)
Well I guess the rest is that so far I've lost 35 lbs! Working on getting in that bikini by beach weather!

The most important thing to me is that I look and feel healthy and that I can be proud of my body when I look in the mirror. I have just begun my workout and diet plan, so it should be very interesting to see the progress on here. I look forward to getting the old me back! :0)
Absolutely beautiful woman..inside and out. Fabulous to talk to and has overcome self image obstacles to realize how truly beautiful her curvy body is and make it even better!
Hmm..there are just too many reasons. One of the most inspirational people on bodyspace. On a personal level she has overcome so much in her life and on a physical level she has completely changed her body. Not to mention shes got a better body than a lot of the 20something on here..She is just amazing!
For the people who were a part of the below-mentioned thread...You are all sickening...this is not what this site is for and you are all useless individuals for using someone else's life for your kicks, whether they are motivated to make a change or not is on them and you are all pathetic...
OK I still dont have a "workout program" but I do as much cardio as humanly possible throughout the week accompanied by some pilates and workout videos, including the magnificent Denise Austin and now started hitting the gym with my friend manders and having strongman weight training...
Hey girl - just saw your new progress pics and they are looking good. I have to take and post mine soon - not as much progress as I wanted but I should have more by next month as I am super motivated.
Keep AT IT!!!!

Well thanks for the offer...I don't do a specific ab routine though. I don't really have any problem with getting muscle there, I just have a problem eating right so that the fat goes away and they show up better! LOL
Will do!!! Soon as the headache goes... ;-)
Have a great weekend... you've GOT to be motivat'n your hubby! So glad he joined in! :) Being healthy together is the best. That's some kind of teamwork... the best kind!
Getting over my bad bad cheat night. Bad. Cheat. Night. Alcohol. Too much. Should have had none, but the rockin blues melodies and corona I was enjoying blended so well. :( Not again!!! Next time, Blues will have to go solo! :) Congrats on the loss! I can SEE it. And you might be gaining muscle???? A little? :)
I don't know if I can get him to do that, but I would love to, he likes us to anonymous -- but thanks, I think we're really great looking together - we made a pretty daughter anyway lol!
get some rest, and remember you are only one person. get some time to yourself, take a bubble bath and light some candles, soak and read a good trashy novel :D
Thank you Lori, you are awesome! I love the pic rating and I cant believe I'm on your list of inspiring people --*shock* I am almost speechless (almost, heehee)

hey hey..if you know all the moves, drop that trainer, its hard to find one who cares about how you progress, most are after the good money.
I dont play around, you either bust ass and show results or I don't want you on the team..haha.
But you know what you are doing, get in there, take charge and defeat the lbs you want to lose..Just don't overtrain yourself..keep me updated, if you ever neeed anything, yell at me.
Steve
