All throughout high school, all i did was play baseball and some football. I managed a Burger King at 16 years old. I came to college, started to drink and go on late night taco bell runs, and I balloon up to 290 pounds. I held that weight for 4 years. One day, i was walking up the stairs to my fraternity house and was completely out of breath. That is the day i decided to change my life.
I started running in March of 2008 completing a 5k. Then gradually moved up to a half marathon.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because it makes me feel good after each workout. I'm a runner and it clears my head and gives me time to think about whatever it is i need to think about, and sometimes it helps me forget about stressful things.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated my looking at society. Thats motivation enough. Oh yeah, and looking through this site and seeing people progress and make themselves better.

Major Accomplishments: Lost 100 pounds as of May 16, 2008, but put back on 4 of muscle since then (posted on June 7, 2008)
Completed my first half marathon (March 15, 2009)

Goal (Long):
I've always looked through people's websites and thought to myself, "Man, i'd love to look like that." I really want to get down to 10% or less and maintain it throughout my life. I will achieve this goal by the end of the year for sure. I want to look phenomenal in anything i wear. I want to be the role model for those people who are overweight or obese that anything is possible and if you actually get off your ass, eat clean and work hard that you can look like whatever you want to. The perfect body for me would be 190 and 8% body fat.
Haha! I need one too...! I'm going to kick it into high gear--I only have a few weeks left of this body transformation contest. I guess I SHOULD get serious here!! Lol. I'm going to map out a plan for the next few weeks.

I am taking a little break. Hubby ran a little to much a little to fast so his knees are shot. Ran 7 by myself on Saturday. I am so used to running with someone else it was hard to run the whole 12 by myself. I am going to hit the weights this week and enjoy that.
I am not sure yet. I am just switching from bodybuilding to running. i need to see how long it is going to take to get my mileage up. Then I will pick one and go with a 12 week plan. What marathon are you running?
