When I Started:
Sep, 2006
How I Started:
To help develope self confidence. I was very weedy, got depressed, ate, and got FAT. I went through a lot when i was younger and it effected me mentally and physically. I was fed up with what i had become and wanted to change my whole concept on life. My mother was into weight lifting when i was younger and she got great results. My brother also developed a great physique through his occupation and when he got into weight lifting. My aunt in NZ has completed Body for Life and got AWSOME results, she entered her first comp in July and WON and is now heading to Nationals. All of the above motivated and inspired me to get healthy and gain confidence in who i am and what i stand for.
Why I Love It:
it keeps me focused, healthy and feelin' good!
How I Stay Motivated:
I LOVE living healthy and getting results! I'm a father so i want to be a good role model for my son, also, my beautiful girlfriend supports and encourages me.
Started my new regime this week, and this was after my Chest and Forearm workout. This is the begingin of my 3 month goal to gain lean muscle mass and trim down.
ab's are poppin for the first time!!!! COncentrating on shoulders, chest, ab's and calves for a while now.
After announcing my plans to compete and study, i've taken the neccessary first steps to reaching my goals. I'm aiming to compete as a Novice in a natural comp next September here on the Gold Coast and have begun studying for my cert 3&4 begining with module one - Physiology...
NEW routine - 4 week duration. Aiming for lower BF, increased lean muscle in problem areas. Working with mixed sets (super & tri) with no rest periods between sets. Failure is a MUST!
Day 1 - Shoulders, Biceps & core
Superset 2 compound shoulder exercises, then 2...
Well one think I would say is stop telling yourself your in a plateau!! Plateau's can be broken in one training session. As soon as I set foot in the gym I tell myself that this is the day that I prove myself. Push yourself in every session and plateau's won't exist.
hey P! thanks for stoppin by! everything is going great here! just trying to train hard everyday! snowboarding season is here and im so PUMPED!! how r u doin??
Thanks mate, appreciate it. Painting is fun for about an hour or so, I had to paint my house last year and never again will I try to paint ceilings myself :(
Big P, great to hear from ya mate! Tracking well and still got a niggly tricep pull. Runnin with more compound moves and seem to be beastin up more which is all good. Settled into the pad nicely, any reno's required?
Im rlly glad things are going well for you- great that ur back with a trainer. (Although I know u work ur ass off on ur own... so god knows how much harder u must be working now lol). My shoulders not good at all...but on the up-side, my mid-abs are becoming visible cuz ive had to change up the way I train. Will post pix soon x
Hey mate, I'm good thanks...had a good sesh at the gym this evening, killer arms session, can only do upperbody at the min but it's good to get back into it and get rid of the stress! I'm hearing you on the work front, having the same probs at the min, but you've just got to keep cracking on I suppose unless I win the lottery lol. How's the training going? You reaching those goals? Just trying to get the food right at the min...the hardest part!
Hey bro, how's it going? Finally gonna be able to train from tomorrow, leg still isn't right but able to walk alot better which is good! Still gonna only be able to do upperbody but it's a start, it's done my head in not being able to train for the past few weeks! How's it going down under?
aww thanks, u always say the right things hey? Its been a really hard week accepting that I cant train. I dont actually know how much damage I did, might be out for 2-3 months. How are u lately? Fill me in, I feel like I don't know whats going on with u.
Thanks pop!! I do a range of different bodyweight exercises and routines some for upper body some for core/abs which would you like to know?haha yeah it's all about gstar and levis!!
