Overall Goal: I don't want to compete, I don't want to model, I don't want anything other than being the best that I can be.

How I Started:
Throughout high school I was always in decent shape. I played running back all four years and working out was just part of the sport. After I graduated, I played college ball at my local JC. This is where I really packed on the muscle. By my sophomore season I weighed in at 260 (majority muscle), playing fullback for the team. Before I got to transfer, I unfortunately ended up breaking my arm the fourth game of the season, ending my football career for good. Over the next few years, unable to play football, but eating as though I still was, I ballooned up in weight, maxing out at 272lbs. I felt disgusted with who I had become and eventually realized it was time that I made a change. Right now I weigh in at 225lbs. Though I have lost a significant amount of weight from when I was at my worst, I still consider NOW my true start into the world of bodybuilding. Though I will never be able to compete (my arm at times cannot handle heavy weight) I am still motivated to become the best that I can be, creating the physique that I know I am supposed to have.
Why I Love It:
I love the challenge. I love getting that rep that I thought I couldn't. I love the way I feel after a strenuous workout. I love seeing the changes in the mirror. Most of all though, I love being the best that I can be.
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation has always been an issue for me. I get motivated, but I let distractions slowly take my motivation away, inevitably taking many steps back to the starting line again. I am hoping that here on bodyspace, I can find like minded people that can help me keep the continuous motivation that I need to achieve the goals that I have set for myself.

well, I looked into the mirror today and saw a fat f*%$ staring back at me. I am truly not happy with the way that I look, but for some reason I can't get out of my bad habbits that have made me this way. Drinking has become a problem, I can't stop myself from eating like s*%$, and im...
