Actually, I started power-lifting in high school, but as I got older, I floated away from it. I gained a lot weight and started to develop health problems, so I started pumping the ol' iron again!
Why I Love It:
I forgot how lifting invigorated me. I'm glad I'm back, but I have a long way to go!
How I Stay Motivated:
I look in the mirror and I also remind myself of how bad I started to feel with the onset of high blood pressure!
Wow, where do start! I guess, simply put, the reason that Sara is a great inspiration to me is that she not only strives to be the best she can be physically, but she she pushes herself to be the best she can intellectually and spiritually! I believe that if we falter in one of these aspect, we suffer extremely in our overall well being! Sara has put it all together, which inspires and motivates me to better a human being! Thanks Sara, you have beautiful soul!!
What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
1. believe in yourself, you deserve it. 2. find folks with like goals, it helps with motivation. 3. no excuses, get your ass after it and get it done. make definite decisions to make a change. Tony! What an honor to be an inspiration to you! Believe me, though, if it were not for all of you out there pushing so hard, I wouldnt be kept motivated to keep everything up!
