I was always thin, but wanted to be "lean and muscular" thin, not "skinny" thin. Also, I wanted to build up cardio-vascular strength and gain and define muscle.
Why I Love It:
I love looking fit and it burns off stress / calories!
How I Stay Motivated:
I love to eat healthily; it comes naturally. I really enjoy lifting weights (especially arms!) and doing cardio. I'm also a Type A person!
BB Accomplishments:
I can do very challenging cardio intervals on the treadmill. I've also really defined my legs and especially my arms, my favorite body part to work on.

I want to keep gaining muscle and continue toning my perfection. :)
Goal (Long):
I'm had always been thin but not muscular. Now I'm a health-nut vegetarian who consumes lots of protein (and tracks everything on fitday) and is making fantastic progress in putting on muscle and defining the muscle. I've been working out seriously at the gym for 4 years now. My program consists of 45 - 60 minutes of hard weight-training (free weights, machines and cables) plus 20 + minutes of cardio intervals on the treadmill or elliptical/arc trainer. I want to put on some muscle while keeping my somewhat flat stomach (I don't do direct ab work). I monitor what I eat very carefully--I tend to be obsessive, but I've never had an eating disorder. I'm a vegetarian who will eat Eggbeaters and especially cottage cheese; otherwise, I eat soy "meat" products (veggie burgers, etc.); soy cheeses/milk; nuts & nut butters; protein bars, hot cereals, fruits & veggies, etc. I don't eat ANY junk food. I allow myself cheat meals about every 2-3 weeks--I go to an Indian or Chinese buffet and eat the veggies until I'm full.

Just saying "Hi"...we are about the same size and I know how you feel about wanting to get abs and gain weight!..It's tough....You look great now, keeeeep lifting! :)
Hey, whats up? How's your training going? I just finished up summer school and get a nice break to just lift, train clients & rest before fall classes start. Anyways, just thought I'd drop you a note to say hi!
thank you. where are u from? dont have to answer if uncomfortable. u seem like a cool girl and always lookin for a new friend in this world of health/nutrition we r in.
I just dropped in to see how the weight gain was coming. It seems odd after working with so many people who all want to lose weight but I know that it is hard when you want to put on some lean muscle and it just never seems to happen. Keep pushing yourself to be the best that you can be.
Thanks! Well... I'm working on the B.S. Sure wish it was grad school though. Someday I guess. Gave 5 yrs of my life to the Army, then a few more to motherhood. So I'm a little behind but now it's time for me!
Just by your ID name I knew we'd get along. Poli (love it), nutri (love it even more) and girl, well that just completes it because I am one too, haha. Anyways, keep it up. :)
Keep all the hard work in the gym and you would reach your goals Here a quote which I hope you would help you with your training There is the Point of No Return where you have Trained so Long Sacrificed so Much, That you Can't GO Back. You Must Reach Your Goal & Trample On Anyone Who tries to Stop I wise man told me that and his name was Herb Elliot Australia Olympic Champion
