How I Started:
My college roommate was big into working out. He would drag me to the gym. Then we bought a soloflex for our apartments and I saw my body changing. I was hooked.
Why I Love It:
Keeps me in shape, relieves stress, and it feels great.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look around and see what can happen if I don't stay active and continue to exercise.
BB Accomplishments:
From April 2008 until now I have lost 25lbs and gotten into the best shape of my life.
This is the picture from before I started on my workout program. I was 185lbs had back pain from an old injury. I was in terrible shape. Decided to get fit.
This is July. After clean diet and daily workout. Began training for a triathlon. No more back pain, plus I feel awesome.
Still training for the tri? I just did an Urbanathlon, a 10.5 mile obstacle course thru the streets of Chicago...at the end we had to hop over taxi cabs and scale a wall to get to the finish line...it was pretty fun!

it ain't easy for us over 40 guys either, but we show em were a success.
