I grew up around my mom working out and eating healthy. Eventually I joined a gym to start working out with her, in aspiration to look how good she did. It just went from there. I met a guy who started to train me and a year later I did a show.
Why I Love It:
I love results, I love knowing I worked and dieted my ass off to look a certain way. Not everyone has that will power.
How I Stay Motivated:
Talk to people about it, usually my friends really help me get through it. They always tell me I'm looking good when I'm getting ready for a show, even though most of them don't really know what to look for. ;)
BB Accomplishments:
I think just doing any show is an accomplishment, especially as a teen. Mentally, it really takes a toll on someone during contest prep, and after the show. I've competed four times since I was 16, including 2007 Teen Nationals.
I feel....depressed. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I think I obsess over what I eat and what I look like to the point that it's not normal. I drive myself crazy anytime I gain a pound, or anytime my clothes get tight. I've been trying to eat as clean as possible, and when I don't...
Hey Kati, I see you've competed in some competitions in the mid fla area. I'm a local too and was thinking about doing the lakeland classic this year. Got any info on that? Thanks!
