Peppermint White Chocolate Eggnog

So did you guess what âCan I Get A Byteâ made! I love peppermint, I love eggnog & I love cooking! Put it all together.....My collaboration of all three! White Chocolate Peppermint Eggnog! This is good for Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years! Drink up and enjoy! 4 Whole Eggs 2 Egg Yolks 3 Cups Organic Milk (lowfat or whole) 1 Cup Heavy Cream 3/4 Cup Sugar 1/2 vanilla bean or 1 tsp pure vanilla extract 1 tsp pure peppermint extract 4 oz white chocolate chips or bar Candy canes Peppermints Melt chocolate either in microwave or using a double boiler. Crush peppermints using a food chopper. Make sure to remove any dust or residue. After chocolate is melted, dip glasses rims in the white, then dip in the crush peppermints. Drizzle a little white chocolate inside the glasses then sprinkle more crushed peppermints. Place glasses in refrigerator to set until ready to fill. In a pot, whisk eggs, sugar, and extracts until fully combined over low heat. Slowly add milk and heavy cream. Continue stirring until combined and the eggnog leaves a light film on the spoon; should have the consistency of a light gravy. Pour mixture through a sieve or sifter to remove any lumps. Place mixture in a bowl, covered and place in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours. Fill each glass with the mixture, garnish with a candy cane & enjoy!
