Check out my instagram Undisputed_Athlete for vids on banded Anderson squats. ~ Take it back to basics, Iâve seen some strong *** guys with **** form for squats. Getting the weight from A to B isnât the goal of hypertrophy, utilizing great form and tension gets you better growth and keeps you healthy for longevity. 1. Focus on keeping your knees from tracking In which puts excess rotation on your hips. 2. Keep all the weight on your heels, try pushing through your heels and visualize pushing the floor away versus just standing up. 3. Make sure you arenât leaning forward which puts excess stress on your lower lumbar, you should sit back into the squat. The bar should go straight up and down. 4. Keep your hips/pelvis squared up and keep the tension on your hips as they hing versus driving them under at the last minute at the bottom to initiate the movement. If you need to lower the weight to execute with good form do it! I promise youâll get better results and feel better if you utilize proper form. I rarely go over 225lb for squats now because I can feel my form declining. Focus on form and rep it out 20 + reps #BandedAndersonSquats #squats #squatbooty #legday
