She gained muscle, which is heavier than fat. She also lost body fat which takes up more space than muscle. The end result, she shrunk a bit, is tighter, leaner and stronger on the right side. âWeight lossâ or âweight gainâ shouldnât always be the goal. Those are very generic terms. If you want to have tight, firm looking curves.. youâre going to need to build muscle. If you just stop eating and start working out you will lose both fat AND muscle, then you will lose your shape all together which is in most cases âskinny fatâ. â?
