When I Started:
How I Started:
I used to run middle distance competetively for my county and district. I loved the results of my hard training; seeing my times coming down and winning national races. As part of my training i was set a weight programme, mostly light weights and high repetitions. I saw the sprinters in my training group lifing heavier and heavier weights, and i'll admit i was jealous! I starting going to the gym more and more, lifting as the sprinters were with increasing weights and low reps. Needless to say i loved it and the results i've seen. That's how i got started
Why I Love It:
I love pushing myself to the next level. Be it an extra rep in the last set, or 5 lbs more than the last workout.

During the bulking phase i've been basing my workouts around 3 main exercises, all of which i do at the start of the workout. Deadlifts, Flat Bench and Leg Press/Squats. For deadlifts i've been doing 4 sets of 5 reps, bench press 4 sets of 4 and leg press 3 sets of 8. Deadlifts i've been adding...
Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I work out 7 days a week, and almost every morning at 5:30am. The workout routine was mistyped. I do not do shoulders and arms twice in a row, but rather do Back and Biceps. I also love the core workout. Thanks again.
