Why I Love It:
The iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told that your a god or a total bastard. The iron will always kick you the real deal. The iron is the great refernce point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds.

How I Stay Motivated:
Improving my strength and the support my wife gives me to keep looking better.
Ha ha, thats about the same here. Some strength here, fat loss there, and a little mass on the side. I'm enjoying it ... however, what I'm not enjoying is the cumulative exhaustion I seem to get every weekend but thats just the nature of the beast.
LOL, whats your training looking like?
I can't really call it new but something pretty basic. I mean, 10-8-6-15 rep scheme basic. Those are whole body routines, 3 days a week. On weekends, its usally giant sets of drop sets on Saturday and if time permits, the sledgehammer, tires, and maybe some sandbag throwing.
Like I said, very simple. I keep saying one of these days, I'm probably going to start a powerlifting-centric training routine but so much other stuff to do before I say I'm ready for that.
You?
Training for me is actually going pretty well. I'm slightly persistent and just started testing out a really basic and simple program. I'm guessing it'll work out well for me but I won't know until I try.
You've lost 50 lbs though? Man, what are you doing? a bunch of powerlifting?
