How I Started:
I worked out on and off when I was younger. Then between having kids and work got too busy (famous excuses!) Last September (my 45th birthday) I decided I wanted to stay fit and healthy. My goal was to be in my best shape by my 46th birthday. So, I didn't really start until January! lol
I started out with a goal weight and feeling more energetic in mind which eventually turned into also wanting to gain muscle.
I completely changed my diet in Feb. Before that I ate lots of junk and drank cokes all day. I still haven't had any coke since then...yea!!! Now I eat healthy most of the time. I usually cheat one day per week. The diet change made a big difference and motivated me to do more.
Why I Love It:
I'm not sure if I love it yet...it's a love/hate relationship! I love the results but hate the work! LOL
How I Stay Motivated:
Mostly by the results I see and looking at pictures of what I want to look like! Also, I want to be fit and sexy for my husband ... he loves the results too! LOL
BB Accomplishments:
Nothing major...unless you count getting back into a size 3 again! I was a size 7 when I started. I didn't take any beginning pics but I'm sure I can find one somewhere! I finally have a calf muscle!! yea! That's a big one for me!

This picture was taken just before my 45th birthday when I decided to get started! All my fat was around my tummy and hips! I weighed 126lbs and my goal was to reach 110lbs. I'm in the blue suit.
Abs a little better today... guess I'll have to give up reeses for good! :(
I'm trying to plan a trip to Vegas next month.... it's my 28th wedding anniversary! Woohoo!! (I think I'll go ahead and get re-married by Elvis while I'm there! lol) Anyone have any suggestions on where to stay or the best shows to see? Do any of the hotels not charge extra to use the...
I know what you mean about the amount of liquid. I have a little time between wake up and workout that helps. Crossfit has been great. I am leaner and still weigh about the same. That's always good:)
I have used it and Super Pump is my fav for pre-workout. Try cutting the dose in half. I also like to have at least a scoop of protein pre-workout too. I maintain my energy better.
short intense burst of cario broken up with various body weight exercises, judo push ups, lying pikes, mountain climbers a bunch of stuff. My legs are killing me today but I couldnt be happier with it.
Hey how are your abs coming Carmen? I ditched the hulk workout in favor of an MMA fighters workout. I love it! I am waiting for my shift to end, and then I have an interview for a promotion today
