I've been working out for years, but with little structure. I got sick of doing the same things all the time and still hating my body, so I began to educate myself about new exercises, structuring my workouts, etc....I still have a lot to learn though!
Why I Love It:
Working out makes me feel energetic and happy for the rest of the day.
How I Stay Motivated:
I know I will feel amazing and energetic when my workout is done, even if I "don't feel like it" before I begin.
Seeing changes and not wanting to backtrack on them keeps me in check sometimes, but I prefer to focus on the feeling rather than the image because sometimes not seeing ENOUGH changes actually discourages me, haha.

Right now, I am just looking for slow, steady, sustainable improvements. Too many times in the past, I've gotten carried away with getting results, fast, at any cost, and it has led me to burn out or go to extremes with dieting and binging.
I want to slim up all around, build endurance, and feel strong. My biggest body issue for a long time has been with my arms - all the women in my family have fat, flabby arms, and I have to work extra hard to change that. I've already seen massive improvements in the last two months since I've restructured my workout routine.
I'm not aiming to enter competitions or look like a body builder, but I can't let myself go again. Choosing outfits based on what will hide my fat best, feeling ashamed in front of good looking guys...that is not okay. Wearing clothes I want to wear and walking around a room with confidence and an energetic boost from exercise...that's how I should always be.
She just looks amazing, and like many members you can see her transformation on her bodyspace. It inspires me to work harder when I can see how other peoples' hard work has paid off so well.
What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Sarah Jessica Parker...she's very thin, but you can tell she exercises a lot, and she looks great in everything she wears. It's actually rare to see such a muscular female actress.

What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
I didn't have any structure. I just copied things I saw or did things other people told me to do, but not in a consistent, structured way that brought great results.
There was a running workshop at Lululeon in Union Square today which I was pretty excited to go to - Ive been meaning to get more involved in various activities aside from school, work, and solo exercise - but who schedules a class at 8:45 AM on Saturday? I got home from work at 2 AM and I guess...
