How I Started:
Doctor prescribed to lower Cholesterol Numbers. However, it has since become an addiction, a way of life. My Doctor didn't believe I could change and had prescribed Cholesterol medication. I fooled him and my cholesterol is now normal.
Why I Love It:
It is the ultimate stress reliever. Love the way I feel, even on days that I didn't really want to work out. Also, the friendships developed while in the gym are great, and give me time to do something for myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking on this site and finding people who have changed their appearance and know that I can look that way too. Plus my wife and kids push me. My wife has put together a Biggest Loser competition in our hometown and she, herself has lost 60 lbs this year.
BB Accomplishments:
Lost 50 lbs in 2003. I have gained some back due to surgery and complications, but I am back WITH A VENGENENCE

There is either do or don't. There is not try.
I didn't lose much body fat during 2008. However, I did gain a lot of muscle. I hooked up with two training partners who push me to the limits. I can tell a big difference in my muscle mass.
