My father's death was an eye opener. I want to live a longer more fulfilling and healthier life, plus nearing the "three o" birthday is kind of scary when you're not healthy :-(

I think of all the negative ways I've stressed my body in the past and how I am on the path to only do good things to it from now on. It's the only one I've got, I might as well treat it right.

Goal (Long):
On April 10th 2008 I weighed 184 lbs and was my first day of workout with trainer man. My first goal was to lose 40 lbs by end of July. On June 23rd I've lost net 10 lbs only, so I'm changing my goal date to (six months) October 10th, to get to 140 lbs or less. I know God gave me this body to treat it right and with respect, not to make it as fat as it can be...
I want to be stronger, leaner and lighter, I want my clothes to fit and not to dread shopping. I want to do lifts and dips without weight aid of the machine, I want to do full push ups.
The sky is the limit, right?!
Slow and steady I'm getting to my first 20 lb loss. NICE! Even after such a hard month in August and physical problems, I'm starting over with a refreshed attitude and spirit and I'm going to kick some serious @ss!

dont be so worried about the weight loss numbers, a lot is in bf and how you look to actually notice a change. i would kick your pt to the curb, i am sorry being a marine i know how to push buttons to get what i want done, but to say you would quit on someone if they dont loose the weight, no deal
