What supplements do you take immediately before your workout? Why?
I eat before. Usually include oatmeal or a main course meal like chicken.

No supplements pre w/o - just food.

Whey Protein
Why is this type of protein best?
Keep it simple. I eat quite a few whole eggs and also chicken, fish, and sometimes beef. Whey is pretty much just for post w/o.
