How I Started:
I have always been working out. It ranges from cross country running in HS to Soccer to finally weight training.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling that it gives me as well as the mental challenge that is created. I also enjoy seeing the progress as I get stronger and the muscle tone increases.
How I Stay Motivated:
The members at the gym keep me motivated. Everyone pushes each other and encourages each other to show up day after day.
Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
I like working with the crossfit group because they are always encouraging and pushing me to do better. When I am having a tough day they are there to push me to try harder.

What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Not lifting properly and increasing weight too soon. Always make sure your form is correct before jumping up in weight.
So I'm down almost 9lbs now, and I treated myself to a little 5star, heat seeker shrimp and crispy green beans tonight. Yummm! As far as food it's still sticking as close to the zone and clean eating as possible. Lots of protein and veggies, and of course my salad at night. Jamie...
that sucks but i know how you feel, I broke my pelvis about six years ago and that sucks super bad. i have to take a break from squats every once in a while.
Hey Kala how is your training coming along? Have you ever met John in Fayetteville? He runs Cross Fit down here. It is pretty intense. Keep up the hard work. It is worth it.

It looks like you are off to a good start, good luck on achieving your goals. I have been on a simular path since March of this year and have found the support from the members here to be great. Keep it up.
My wife (bodyspace name: judimax) and I believe we know where you are coming from & want you to make your fitness goals come true and they can possibly sooner than you think. Judimax went from a size 12/14 to 4/6 and I lost over 50 Lbs going from 36 to 10% bodyfat by following the 12-week Body for Life program. Push yourself, possibly out of your comfort zone and you may be amazed at the results and the speed that they can occur. Get in touch with either of us if you wish.
