Been so long I can't remember. Just got tired of being small. Needed more strength for martial arts.
Why I Love It:
Just the feeling of a powerful workout can't be beat by anything. It's the closest thing to feeling superhuman.
How I Stay Motivated:
How can you not?

Thread killer :(

This was when I had no cardio and was just into size and power.
This is more recent, showing the change in size (with more tude lol) to go along with the increase in cardio, explosive power, and functional strength. Focus more on being fit and strong for my sport over muscle size (and the calories needed to support it).
I've neglected legs for the "beach" muscles most of my beggining years. Paid for it in full when, during a spinning/kicking exercise, the weight of my upper body torked my kneecap all the way to the back of my leg, with a sound the equivalent of a low caliber gunshot. Now I have to battle not just to gain size, but keep from messing up already injured and stressed joints. Never neglect legs folks!
11/01/07- "New" old routine: back to the basics (ish). Mon./Wed./Fri.- one exercise per bodypart 3-4 sets (not including drop and super sets). Try for compound exercises with bar and dumbbells (ie: Squats, deadlifts, cleans, bench, etc.). If I'm sore from a previous w.o. then I do a lite day...
Basicly always wanted to run a school and was thinking PT was a credintal to help get started and add more debth. Training myself going ok..tight spots seem to not want to go away!! Argggg! How is compotition going?
yeah, that is kinda what I was saying, also I have been doing alot of research on supplementation for joint issues and MSM is showing "some" promise. I am going to order powdered form (found it cheap for $11.00 a pound) and I will try it out for a while and let you know if I notice any diff. You can't re-build the cartilage though so, supplements on go so far in pain alleviation predominately.
I would search around, try to find the cheapest price and get the one that is the kit that includes 2 different tensions because you may have to build up to it and you do not always want to use the one that is tougher. You have to do this no more than 3x's/wk and not for 2 long, in-between you may want to do the lighter tension. Sorry, I hope this makes sense!!
there are 3 diff. tension bands. Do not over-do-it. I found overdoing it is counter productive, I thk I ended up using it every other day 5 mins. here or there and within 2 wks I started to notice a significant improvement. The theory is that is enhances blood circulation, i.e. underlying caus to tennis elbow outside of injury. U need the blood to flow back into the region to begin healing it. Pls let me know how it wrks. 4 U. Take Care!
Whos cares..LOL. Itll be nice to get my ass beat here and there. Gives me experience. I gotta get back in the studio soon. Gettin a little fat on me lol.
