You're certainly welcome. Its a learning process for all of us at some point or another. I've been trying to learn more about the women's side of the sport for when I start training and also to help my wife, should she ask for my help. I'm loving what I'm learning and the new results, too. Do you have an upcoming show/date in mind?
Ehh, well, that particular keto diet is a contest prep one so there's not a lot of room to cut out there. Unless you're doing building, most women (in my opinion) look better with a flatter and harder physique. Probably in the last contest prep doing an all meat and veggie diet and cutting the fats, then re-loading them with nuts or something before the show could work. Throw in your diuretic of choice and you should come in lookin' great.
Cool, give it a shot. My wife tried it a week, but said she had too much going on to stick on it. *shrug* She did see some nice results though in even that 1 week. I might be competing in March, so I'm doing this as a dry run to see how my body responds to a keto diet. Next month I'll add in a few carbs, still hypocaloric, and change up my training a bit. Then for Dec I'll stick with whichever I saw better results on and know come next year when its time to diet down.
It was at the very end of my blog. Here ya go! http://forums.musculardevelopm ent.com /showthread.php?t=7841 Supplement wise, taking 1300mg of Evening Primrose Oil 2x a day is also recommended for females on it
Thanks for the add. I've been feeling great! The only day I get run down is if I over-do it in the morning workouts. That's only seemed to be a problem for me on leg days. I'm so accustomed to pushing them hard. I've been coupling it with density training and low intensity cardio and feel that's the ideal combo for me. I'll check my bodyfat again Monday, but weight wise I was down 9lbs yesterday (good 5lbs was water). Did you see Dave's diet for female figure girls already?
