When I Started:
Nov, 2006
How I Started:
I had always been a very skinny basketball player. As soon as I graduated from High School and stopped playing basketball on a daily basis I began putting on weight around my stomach.
I began with Body for Life a few years back. I had been working at the office and not doing much in terms of fitness and gaining weight. I was starting to buy a third wardrobe because I was fat. I decided I had to do something. At that time my goal was to lose weight. It worked great and I have been my thinner self for a few years now. It is now time to make a change and put muscle on.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling it gives me every day knowing that I am doing something for myself. I feel energized and ready to take on the world. It is also a very nice feeling when others give me compliments.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by getting just a bit closer to my goal. Seeing the changes in my body is a huge motivator.
BB Accomplishments:
Having gone from a skinny person with long limbs to finally begin showing changes in my body is awesome. I am hooked!

I returned from Rosarito on Sunday. I was very happy with the results. I rode about 15 minutes faster than last year but I finished stronger. Last year everyone was pasong me on the last 5 miles. I was riding about 13mph. This year I was going at twice that speed and felt great once...
