When I Started:
Jan, 2007
How I Started:
Working out with my cousin up in the hot attic of his mother's house ... I was in Junior High and I was hooked. In highschool strength training program for football. Worked out off and on for years, until I introduced my ex-girlfriend to the sport. Her enthusiasm and excitment for the lifestyle has motivated me to finally get serious.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel proud to be me. I have always been a firm believer in the strength of the human (individual) spirit. You should push yourself beyond the boundaries of your own limitations - there you will find "Yourself." I am also an advocate of the whole "survival of the fittest" motto. "Might is Right" is the whole of the Law of Nature. Natural selection is the primary cause of human evolution, and if I do not keep myself strong I believe my offspring will suffer for it. There is a truly scientific approach to living life, and we should take full advantage of it ... but to be totally honest, and on an individual level - I am just that little chubby kid you knew as a child, that now wants to be the strongest kid on the block. Never allow yourself to be a victim (of anything). Bodybuilding and workingout give me that edge. It is my sport ... It is my life!
How I Stay Motivated:
Remembering what it felt like to be weak and lazy. It was not a good feeling. Remembering what it felt like to not be able to help or protect those I love. That was not a good feeling either. Knowing that my strength, size, stamina, endurance, flexibility, and mental awareness keeps me at the top of the mountain. That feels great!!!
BB Accomplishments:
Staying with it. It is surely a very hard road to stay driven. I am still here, pushing, pulling, twisting, and running. I have become my sport ... I have become my goals ... I have become my results ... Most important - I HAVE BECOME!

This was started when I first decided to get back into the gym after a six month layoff. I was 250 pounds with too much body fat. I felt tired and heavy all the time ... it was time to change it.
This photo was taken three and a half months into my program. I have gained three pounds, I weigh 268 lbs. Is it muscle or fat, I don't know - I need to start paying more attention to my nutrition.
Gain Muscle and lose body fat - Find definition and separation of my major muscle groups, along with strength and agility.
Goal (Long):
I am going to gain as much muscle as I possibly can. I wish to decrease my body fat down just above competition levels, at the same time keeping my same overall body weight. I am working on the strength and agility of my temple. I am also working on the vascularity and cardiovascular aspects of my body, as well as strengthening my core muscles; to enhance my stamina and endurance.

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
Bench Press.
For myself it is the bench press. I workout alone ... it is my meditation, so asking someone for a spot is destruction to my concentration - I just don't do it. Going heavy on the bench is dangerous for me, due to my solitude. If I cannot get the weight up, there may not be someone there to help. That is why I chose not to work bench into my routine, other than warming up - I do not really need it anyhow. I am more of a Dumbbell kinda guy.Bench Press.

What is your favorite bicep building exercise?
E-Z Bar curls - Close and wide grips - works the entire biceps!
Why I like this video: This video is the real deal. It gives me a small glimpse into the world of the pro bodybuilder - the agony and sorrow of it all, the mental solitude, the painful determination, but above all - it shows me what it takes and reminds me why I want it.
Thanks for friend request.....I am downloading wkly progress pics and videos - prep for the CBBF Nationals and IFBB NA.......stay tune...
By the way your looking awesome...train with passion and from the heart - it will open doors to all your dreams.....wishing you the best. Christine :)
Hey big guy, good progress! You have the muscle mass to look like a freak when you get finished uncovering and showing the goods! Awesome man! Let me know if you ever need anything, peace!
Making your fitness dreams come true can happen sooner than you think. I lost over 50 lb’s and dropped my bodyfat from 36% to 10% and my wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from size 12/14 to 4/6 in only 12 weeks by following the Body for Life program. It’s not the easiest program out there but it’s still not so hard that you can’t reach your goals. Push yourself (possibly out of your comfort zone) and the results will be well worth the effort. Contact us for more info.
Congrats with deciding to make the transformation. Once some of those changes happen you are really going to start enjoying the journey.
Let's git 'er done!
