ovrseasadvnture I have basically2 months until flying to England then the states! Any advice!? need to lose weight. The last 10lbs are so hard! No sweets!

ovrseasadvnture Morning was crazy, but got in a 4 mile run this afternoon! It made MY DAY! Beautiful day, weather perfect, great run!!!

It's crazy how fast life goes by. Just 2 years ago I was figuring this whole body building thing out and every year and summer I say, no more. I will be fit. Just last December, I was thinking, I have 6 months till summer and 8 months till I am home.   NOW- I have less than 3 months till I get on a plane! Crazy!!! and I am no where where I want to be- BUT i feel a lot better than I did last year, and I am learning a lot about fitness, nutrition, and my own body.  Stress & work... Go to BodyBlog

doctorstacy It was a charity event at Fenway and it was opened up...so you could go almost anywhere in the stands and tunnels. It was a blast. Not crowded so plenty of open places to run around. jramaral Hayley!! I am glad you found me on here too! Even across the world we can reconnect through the love of body building!! I did fall off the face of the planet... after the breakup I deleted my fb account and never looked back! Only a few select people know what is going on with me and I like it that way! haha But I am glad to have you back in my world because you've always been a ball of sunshine. bjintulsa I looovveee fruit! But no, I stick to 1 serving of fruit a day and I make sure it's in the morning. You want to eat any fruit before 4pm so you burn off the sugar from it by the time you go to bed. And I always try to eat pure lean protein before I go to bed to keep my insulin level stable while sleeping. This also prevents you from waking up hungry in the morning :) Apr 4, 2013 11:17pm

Cheezziitt This hasand will allow me to maintain most my muscle and lean me out the remaining 2-3% for my show. Sooo my advice would be to really look at your nutrition.... I have been eating clean for a 2+ years now sounds like the same is for you...for me it wasn't until I restructured that clean eating 6 months ago that helped me. It was a lot of trial and error for the years to know how my body responds to certain foods and workouts. Journals are key! Hope this helps!!! Mar 5, 2013 12:50pm

Cheezziitt my cardio was in my intense lifting. (sounds like Steve's program may be similar) I didn't do 'cardio' for over 4 months. I used my diet plan and workouts to help gain muscle and loose fat. Yes it can be done! :) I actually just started 2 weeks ago with actual cardio and thats been about 20mins a day. Cheezziitt I did gain quite a bit of weight back after my last shows even with the cardio. (Last year for show prep I did A LOT of cardio. I did lean down but I did burn a lot of muscle too. ) I was determine to gain my mucle I had lost and then some! I learned that the cardio I was doing wasn't going to get me there. It was about last fall that things shifted. I went on nutrition plan of carb cycling and more explosive/ramp setting exercises. SO... Mar 5, 2013 12:45pm

Cheezziitt hahaha ohhh Cardio.... I have learned SO SO much about my body this year. I too thought I NEEDED cardio but ti turns out if your program fits you don't! Honestly for most the summer I lifted and did cardio and I do struggled fitting things in. I thought I needed cardio to keep my weight down while I increased my calories (mainly carbs) in order to build more muscle. But... Mar 5, 2013 12:41pm

Cheezziitt It is an amazing program that I LOVE and my body responds too. My body responded really well to Jamie's LF program. I am not familiar with Steve's program. What is your schedule like, is it time that you struggle with. My muscle gains mainly came when I found the right diet or how I see it nutrition for my body.
