When I Started:
Apr, 2002
How I Started:
I was 19 years old in early 2000 and at my highest weight of 315 pounds. My best friend of 12 years had just died in a car accident. I decided that I would either end up dying from a heart attack by the time I turned 21, or I would do whatever it took to lose the weight. So in April 2002, after much yo-yo dieting, I began my road to weight freedom and started taking my weight loss goal seriously.
Why I Love It:
I can come home at the end of the workday feeling completely stressed out, not even wanting to exercise. But then I do it, and I feel totally pumped up for the next day.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing the results from the past five years that I have put in of working out.
BB Accomplishments:
As of April 15, I have officially lost 175 pounds.
9/25/2007: 157.5 - Numbers that I will forever remember. I always wanted to see the day that I could say I was "half my size," and I finally hit that benchmark today. Seven years ago, I would have never even given a thought as to this actually ever coming to fruition.
I started the Firm workout 4-DVD set with weights on 1/6/08 and lost 10 pounds in the first four days. That's the workout plan I am continuing with for the time being.

Hey Cat, thanks for commenting on my blog entry. Yep, it takes awhile for our mindset to catch up with a slimmer body. You are doing so well, and good for you on getting rid of that scale. I'm rooting for you. :) T
you really have made a difference, you look amazing cant believe you changed that much i can now use you as an inspiration to me girls who say it cant be done and just make up excuses instead of going for it like you did x
Hey Cat! I'm loving the Tshirt!! Go ahead with your bad self. lol Thank you for the support and positive comments. You just don't know, how your success, and those of other members have inspired me to keep going. Thank you for sharing your amazing success. It really does assure me that I can reach my goals as well. You look great!! *hugs* :) T
I'm no master on cutting... but I say just keep to the basics... eat lean and clean... and focus on cardio and lots of reps...not heavy weights. I have heard lipo-6 is good.
If you want that muscle definition, try using free weights and up the weight on a regular basis so you're actually increasing in strength too.
Any reason why you don't use free weights yet? I can help you with that side of it if you need it. :D
