I was 240lbs at 13 years old and only 5'10". Sports were hell and I sucked at them big time. I wanted to be a star athlete and so I starting eating right and working out the only way I knew how. In two years I was 6ft and 200lbs. I took this motivation and accomplishment in stride and wanted to see what I could do if I really applied myself to reach the ultimate level of physique sports.
Why I Love It:
No other activity gives me the pride, pleasure, gratification and joy then bodybuilding does. The high I get before, during and after every workout is unlike any other feeling I can think of. When you can take full control of your health and your body you can control anything in your life!
How I Stay Motivated:
Not knowing what my true potential really is or what I could really look like keeps me pushing harder and harder every workout to get just a little closer to gaining a glimps of what that potential might look and feel like.
BB Accomplishments:
I have competed 3 times since the summer of 2003 which was the year I started college and really went gung ho on the sport. I did one AAU contest as a teen, one INBF show the following April as an adult light heavy and my last contest was an NPC show this past April also as a light heavy. Accepting this lifestyle is my biggest accomplishment of all!
I want to add some lean muscle mass and overall body size before competing again.
Goal (Long):
Gain some more muscle mass and keep bodyfat under control. Then when I feel I have added the right mount of muscle in all the right places I want to compete again in an INBF contest in late April.

Well today was move in day! I made the 2 1/2 hour trip with my parents and sister to La Crosse, WI to move into my new graduate student only apartment just off the UWL campus. Nice place and great kitchens! Big draw for a guy like me who cooks almost eveyr other day if possible! Got 3 roomies...
dude, there is no world or gold's gym in here ..i wish it would...
i workout in civitavecchia that is 70 km on the north of rome
i was working out in World Gym in Marina del rey when i was in LA, that also does not exist anymore , unfortunately!!!
i should be there soon.
As regards your being in Termini Station Area, you can find a Fitnessfirst facility inside the station, it is not what you can immagine of a gym coming from US, but at least there is a Rack for doing Free Squats..
but for the rest..it is a real shit with only technogym machines and very light dumbbells
hi dude, i am from Civitavecchia, it is 70 km on the north of rome. i am trying to buy a little gym in Los Angeles, where i lived the most of 2005-2006, to relocate to California.
I am not very expert about Rome's Gym, i never worked out there. Do you already know in which part of it will u stay?
I'm not going to make the April show, I have a lot to make up for with having shoulder surgery I lost ALOT. I've been training everyday and trying to eat clean. In all honesty, I'm looking at the October show. That's my goal, I know it's far off but I lost probably 4 good months of lifting hard due to the shoulder injury. Needless to say it's like I'm starting from scratch.
Thanks for the information. Have you ever trained women before. Like I said this is my first time and I really want to do this and I know they say training for men and training women are completely different. And unfortunatly there aren't a lot of women in our area that compete and I'm sorry I don't feel comfortable going to a PT that is in horrible shape.
Happy New Year!
Saw your picture in this months issue of FLEX... Looking good bro, keep up the hard work. Let me know if there are any shows coming up in the Milwaukee/WI area any time this year. I am probably 1+ years away from competing but I would like to go check out a show and see what's up.
