When I Started:
Feb, 2004
How I Started:
I was bored with multisports and wanted a new challenge. I decided to train seriously for my first comp in May 2008 from February 2008 and have competed twice now - first coming second in my novice figure tall class and then after qualifying for the NZ team to go to the NABBA world champs I placed third in the Miss Figure Tall in Greece. Am resting but will start conditioning for the NZ Nationals to be held in October around early August
Why I Love It:
It requires sheer mental and physical determination and a lot of heart. You learn to push yourself far beyond any kind of limit you had ever set yourself before - I love the feeling of being at peak health just before comp as well as the way you transform your body to get on stage
How I Stay Motivated:
I think about how what I do will affect my condition when I get up on stage in that tiny bikini
BB Accomplishments:
2nd Novice figure tall - NABBA Auckland Championships 2008
3rd Miss Figure tall - NABBA World Championships - Greece 2008
