How I Started:
A few years ago I became a Roman reenactor. A few of us in the group decided to start a Gladiator subgroup. I realized if I wanted to look the part of a Gladiator I had to get into shape.
Why I Love It:
I just love the amount of fat I've been able to burn off over the last year. Its a good feeling receiving all the compliments I've been getting.
How I Stay Motivated:
The fact that I'm actually reaching some of my goals is helping me stay motivated. Watching many of my friends starting to live healthier lifestyles, and exercise more also helps me stay motivated.
BB Accomplishments:
Dropping close to 50lbs of weight in the last year after turning 40. I've also dropped 5% body fat in the last 7 months.

Main Goal:
Transform My Body
Goal (Overall):
Get Stronger, and burn body fat. Be able to do Chin Ups and Pull Ups for the first time in my life.
Goal (Long):
Have a body fat of 15-20% lower the better. Have a working Bench Press of 225lbs for reps in the next 6 months. I just passed the 135lbs for reps mark. I'd like to have a max bench press of 300lbs+ some time in the next year. I'd like to have a max Squat (or Smith Machine Squat) of 360lbs in the next year [a power lifting friend of mine doesn't think I have the build for it. I'll show him].
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 15 lb

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Tendinitis in both knees and heels while in Army Basic Training.
Was on crutches for three weeks.
Knees never completely recovered.

With leg day of course

Hack Squats:  90lbs x 15, 15 Warm Up; 180lbs x 12, 12; 200lbs x 12, 12

Leg Extensions: 12reps x 80lbs, 90lbs, 100lbs, 110lbs

Leg Presses: 270lbs x 15 Warm Up; 360lbs x 10, 380lbs x 8, 400lbs x 6, 6

Lying Hamstring curls: 70lbs x...


Current Supplements:
EAS 100% Whey Protein, 2 Lbs., Chocolate
Started: Jan 01, 2008
Reason: Don't remember the date I first started taking EAS, but I'd been using Muscle Milk...
